For Real Vitamix review

There are just three controls which users need to concern themselves with and they are the power button, the speed selector switch and speed selector dial. The container itself is made from polycarbonate material which is known to be highly solvable as far as organic solvents are concerned but is poorly solvable when it comes to water. What you could do is replace the polycarbonate container with a polyester one which does not contain any BPA and is even slightly tougher than the polycarbonate container. This means that it won't get as easily damaged when put in the dish washer. It is much more resistant to chemicals as well.

 

As far as the blade of this blender is concerned, it has 4 prongs and you can hardly ever hear anyone complain about it.

 

This blade can even slice ice or nuts without any trouble. The blade runs on a 2 horsepower motor which is quite impressive. If you have to find something wrong with the blade, you could say that it is hard to remove which means cleaning the food out from under it is quite a task. But all it takes is a little practice and should easily be able to overcome this problem.

 

Even a new user will not have any trouble operating this machine.

 

There are a few things which you may be concerned about though. It is quite noisy for one although the newer Vitamix blenders don't have any such problem. There have been a few complaints of overheating and excessive vibrations as well but these are all circumstantial and most people don't face any such problems throughout the life of their blenders.

 

And lastly, as far as cleaning is concerned, there is very little you need to do.
